• Welcome to China! Welcome to Beijing! Upon your arrival, you need to clear Customs and retrieve your baggage, then be met by our tour guide in the Arrival Hall who is holding a sign on which it says your name. Later on, be transferred to your downtown hotel and check-in. After a short rest in your hotel, you will pay a visit to Summer Palace. In the evening, you will be entertained with Pecking Roast Duck.

• Today you will first visit the world`s biggest city plaza, Tian`anmen Square. Then walk to the marvelous "Egg" (the National Centre for the Performing Arts) to take some pictures from its outside. Subsequently, go to Forbidden City, the most complete imperial palace in China. And later, you will proceed to the impressive Temple of Heaven. In the evening, you will enjoy Peking Opera.

• After breakfast, you will be driven to Badaling Great Wall (about 75 km, 1.5 hours). After lunch, take a short drive to visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tombs. Then, be escorted to the railway station for your overnight train with soft sleeper to Xi`an.

• In the early morning, you will arrive in Xi`an, be greeted by our Xi`an local guide at the railway station and transferred to your downtown hotel. After some rest, be driven to the famous Terracotta Warriors Museum. In the afternoon, visit Shaanxi History Museum with the richest collection of artifacts in China. After that, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In the evening, the deluxe Tang Dynasty Dinner Performance will be reserved for you.

• In the morning, your guide will go to the hotel to pick you up and escort you to the airport for your flight to Lhasa (about three and half hours). Upon arrival at Gonggar Airport, be met by our Tibetan guide at the Arrival Hall who is holding a sign on which it says your name. Later, be transferred to your hotel which will take you about 1 and half hours` driving (70km). After checking in, have a good rest to get acclimatized.

• Today you will pay a visit to Potala Palace. Your first sight of this magnificent structure will be a good memory in your life. It was originally built in 637 by Songtsen Gampo and had become the home to Dalai Lama and the political center of Tibet since 1645. In the afternoon, visit Jokhang Temple, which locates at Barkor Street and is the spiritual center of Tibet. Then, go sightseeing and shopping at Barkor Street, the most ancient street in Lhasa where you can get a view of the local people`s daily life.

• The highlightsf today`s activity are Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. Drepung Monastery is about 5km away from the center of Lhasa. The monastery was once the world`s largest monastery and housed 10,000 monks in its heyday. Sera Monastery was named Sera which means wild rose in the Tibetan language, because the hill behind it was covered with wild roses in bloom when the monastery was built.

• Today`s trip will take you to the southwest of Lhasa. You will pass Yamdrok Tso Lake, one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and enjoying the most beautiful water. Later on, cross over Kampala Pass at 4,794m and Karola Pass at 5,010. In Gyantse, visit the Kumbum Pagoda in Pelkhor Monastery. And then, drive to Shigatse, the second largest town in Tibet and the capital of Tsang.

• After breakfast, you will visit Tashilunpo Monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lama built in 1447 and one of the six grand monasteries in Tibet. In the afternoon, take a 4-5-hour`s drive along the Brahmaputra River back to Lhasa.

• Be free until our guide goes to pick you up and escort you to Lhasa Gonggar airport and fly to Shanghai via Chengdu. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our local guide in the Arrival Hall who is holding a sign on which it says your name. Then, be transferred to your hotel and check in.

• After breakfast, you will go to visit the Bund, one of the most famous thoroughfares in China and here you will see a collection of buildings, dating to the 1930`s and displaying their western influence. Later, visit Shanghai Museum on People`s Square with its fine collection of cultural relics. Then you will pay a visit to Yu Garden.

• In the morning, you will be free until your guide goes to pick you up and escort you to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
