• Welcome to Lhasa! After arrival and baggage retrieval by yourself, be met by our tour guide in the Arrival Hall who is holding a sign on which it says your name. And then transferred by your private car/van to your hotel downtown (2-hour drive). After check-in and a short rest to adjust to Tibet`s high altitudes in your hotel, make a easy stroll in the beautiful Norbulingka Park, the summer palace of Dalai Lamas. A welcome dinner will be served at your hotel.

• In this moning, you will first go to the landmark of Lhasa, the splendid Potala Palace. After lunch move on to the sacred Jokhang Monastery. Out of the Jokhang, you are right in the center of the fascinating Barkhor Street, lined with the stalls of an outdoor market selling all kinds of goods. Enjoy a stroll in the busy Barkhor Street.

• Today you will visit two of the three great Gelugpa monasteries in Lhasa: the Sera Monastery and the Drepung Monastery. Afterwards proceed to the Tibet Museum. When you become a visitor at a Tibetan Family, you will make yourself closer to the real life of Tibetan.

• Today's full-day trip will take you to the Heaven Lake, the Namtso Lake. Situated at an elevation of 4,718 meters above sea level, the Lake Namtso is the highest salt water lake in the world and the largest salt lake in Tibet. The clear blue water with mountain covered with snow make the scenery even more breathtaking than the altitude. After the tour please enjoy a well-prepared farewell dinner!

• Be free after breakfast until our local guide picks you up in your hotel and escorts you to the Gonggar Airport for your flight to the next destination.
