Build to ward off enemies in ancient times, today the Great Wall brings together people from all corners of the world. A must see for anyone going to China, even a few hours along the fabled Great Wall is the experience of a lifetime. Hiking along the Great Wall, however, is substantially different than simply making the usual short visit. You'll not only accept a challenge physically, but also obtain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Chinese history and culture, as well as man's creative power. In addition, you have the chance to visit and explore beautiful sections of the Great Wall that most people will never see, especially the section from Jinshanling to Simatai.

• Welcome to Beijing! After your arrival, clearing customs and retrieving baggage by yourself, please exit to the arrival hall to meet our tour guide, who will pick you up with a sign on which written your name. Be transferred to hotel downtown. The rest of the day is your free time to have a rest.

• After breakfast drive to the Huangyaguan Great Wall (about 125km, 2-hour-drive). After checking into the Huanyaguan Great Wall Hotel at the foot of the Wall, hike along the wall from Taipingzhai to the base area. Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon be free or hike along the west wing of the Wall. Dinner will be served at hotel.

• After having breakfast you`ll be driven to the most impressive Simatai Great Wall. Take a hike from Simatai to Jinshanling (about 5 hours). Lunch box for en route. Dinner will be served at your hotel.  

• Today drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall and embark on another full-day hike (approximately 5 hours), lunchbox provided. Two unique features of this section are the double battlements and branch walls found throughout the area. Dinner will be served at your hotel. Stay overnight at Hongluo Hotel.

• Be driven to the Huanghuacheng Great Wall and embark on another full-day hike (approximately 4 hours). The Wall clings here to a high hillside adjacent to a reservoir. Lunch box will be provided for en route. Afterwards driven to Juyongguan Pass and stay overnight in Juyongguan Hotel. Dinner will be served at your hotel.

• Full day walk along the Juyongguan Great Wall. Lunch box provided or lunch at a local restaurant, it's up to your choice. Then drive back to Beijing in the afternoon. On the way to your hotel, you can make a stop at the Beijing Olympic Village (Olympic Green) to take some photos of the "Bird`s Nest" and "Water Cube" from the outside.
• Optional: The Peking Opera and the Kungfu Show belong now to the must-see attractions of a Beijing tour. This evening, you could take part in such an optional entertainment program (you may book Peking Opera or Kongfu Show in advance with the tour together).

• Today you will first visit the world`s largest city plaza, the Tian'anmen Square; then walk to "The Egg" to take some photos from its outside; proceed to the magnificent Forbidden City on foot; In the afternoon,  marvel at the splendid Temple of Heaven. For dinner you will enjoy one of China's most famous dishes, the Peking Roast Duck. 

• Be free to explore Beijing on your own after breakfast, until your tour guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
